I am a Marine Corps veteran that recently left active duty after about 10 years of service. I now work as a government contractor in the El Segundo area and I am a proud Loyola Law School student by night. . I am a mother of an amazing daughter! I also am a fitness enthusiast that enjoys playing sports and being involved in the community.

While in the Marine Corps I truly appreciated the camaraderie and unity. I would often work with senior leaders to create events to truly emphasize and further the unity of young Marines and women in the military. Since transitioning I have felt and observed the gap of that bond for many veterans. In addition, minorities and women often lack venues that assist in creativity and resources to further career, personal goals. With all of the things that pull me in so many directions my life goal is to build a community, similar to what I experienced while as a Marine while also helping minorities and women build a community to leverage for all aspects of life.
